If one of the chatters writes “Leute” (people) online, the word triggers a short video clip showing the cue in front of the documenta entrance. Other keywords trigger simple digital animations and black-and-white recordings that were shot in Kassel around the Fridericianum. The chatters often seem intent on disrupting conversations with particularly annoying samples; their provocations are somewhat reminiscent of the behaviour of today’s Internet trolls.
