The Piazzetta Vilnius featured representatives of then newly founded institutions in Lithuania, such as the first private radio stations and the Academy of Religion. Thus the spirit of optimism that arose after the collapse of the Soviet Union is palpable. The Piazzetta Vilnius was significantly supported and realized by the television station “East Lithuanian Television” and the private telecommunications company “Lintel”.
