Access Points

In Kassel, the “Access Points” – video cameras and monitors built into a metal chassis – stood between the studio containers next to the Fridericianum. The design for the construction came from Van Gogh TV staff and was built by a company in Kassel. Through it, passers-by and exhibition visitors could participate in the programme, which they could follow simultaneously on the monitor, and intervene in via microphone and the built-in video camera. The recordings from the access point were usually one of several images that could be seen simultaneously on the screen.
