The main purpose of the research project that led to this website was to make the broadcasts of “Piazza virtuale” accessible again. That’s why we did excerpts from all the broadcast segments and from all the Piazzettas. However, nobody saw “Piazza virtuale” in this form at that time. To make a live experience of the show possible, we have compiled some complete broadcasts here. They include some special shows – including a show done jointly and spontaneously by all the Piazzettas on the occasion of the death of John Cage – as well as one transmission to Japan and one to the Siggraph conference in the USA, which were not shown on television:
