On site in Kassel at the documenta, the concept of the “Piazza” was taken seriously by Van Gogh TV: A kind of “piazzetta” called “News Café” had been set up in the space between the containers housing the studio and broadcasting equipment, where people could sit, meet and drink coffee – a social place that was popular as a meeting place, and not only for the project staff.
